Vietnamese Association in Saitama Accompanies the Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival 2025 in Japan

The "Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival 2025 in Japan" is expected to take place from January 4 to January 12, 2025, featuring distinctive and meaningful activities. The Vietnamese Association in Saitama is honored to accompany the festival to promote Vietnamese culture and the image of the Vietnamese people.

The Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival 2025 in Japan Officially Launches

For a long time, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival has been considered an indispensable "spiritual food" during the Lunar New Year. This annual event is organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event targets the community of over 6 million Vietnamese living, studying, and working in more than 130 countries and territories.

This year's "Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival 2025 in Japan" officially kicks off with a series of events organized by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Fukuoka, Japan. Collaborating with them are the Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka, the Vietnamese Association in Saitama, and entities including SUN SHINE GLOBAL, GAG Japanese Language Academy, and VTC10 Vietnamese Culture Channel.

Invitation to the Launch Ceremony of the Festival

On the afternoon of July 17, at the headquarters of VTC Television, the organizing committee officially launched the program. The launch ceremony was attended by many famous artists, partners, and businesses and garnered significant attention from numerous media agencies.

In her opening speech, Ms. Vu Chi Mai (Consul General of Vietnam in Fukuoka) stated that Festival will take place from January 4 to 5, 2025, in Saitama Prefecture and conclude from January 10 to 12, 2025, in Fukuoka. Within the framework of the festival, attendees will admire booths showcasing handicrafts, consumer goods, and promoting Vietnamese tourism and culture, along with spectacular performances by famous Vietnamese artists, singers, and actors.

Besides these highlights, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival 2025 also features two major events aimed at spreading the image and culture of the Vietnamese people: "Miss Culture Friendship International 2025" and "Global Kid Model 2025." Both contests are expected to be held in Japan with many meaningful accompanying activities.

The launch ceremony was attended by many celebrities and attracted significant media attention.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Dong (Deputy Director of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese) assessed that any Vietnamese in Japan participating in the Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival 2025 are not only creators but also beneficiaries of spiritual values. Each individual will become a cultural ambassador, a bridge of friendship between Vietnam and Japan.
