The “Warm Winter for Children” project is implemented with the purpose of focusing on investing in educational activities for the future young generation of Vietnam who are facing difficulties and lacking conditions for development. The objective of the program is to foster community engagement in order to cultivate numerous human values, thereby contributing to the progress of Vietnam as a more prosperous, aesthetically pleasing, and developed nation. The project was implemented at Pha Danh Primary and Secondary Ethnic Boarding School, Ky Son district, Nghe An province.

At the charity event, Mr. Pham Dinh Thuong - Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Saitama and Ms. Vu Thi Lien Huong - Head of the Education Department representing the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan donated equipment for the teaching activities including: 1 television, 1 washing machine, 100 dining chairs, 100 mats, 100 blankets, 300 rice trays, etc. and many small gifts for the students. During the program, the delegation also gave 5 gifts to 5 households in extremely difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 100 million VND.

Association representatives gain knowledge regarding the living and academic conditions of the institution. Concurrently, we eagerly anticipate continuing to support the school in the coming years.

Pha Danh Primary and Secondary Ethnic Boarding School is situated in a challenging region of the Ky Son district, which is composed of high mountains. The institution is presently adopting a residential school model; however, the provision of essential amenities, such as dormitories, and the quality of living conditions are not assured. The Association hopes that, in the future, it will continue to collaborate with the school and local authorities to progressively enhance the school's facilities and teaching conditions, including the construction of student restrooms, dining areas, and bedroom areas, out of compassion and understanding for these challenges.

Giving the school gifts, Mr. Pham Dinh Thuong remarked, “The gifts convey not only material worth but also the group's affection and sentiments for the children.” We sincerely hope that these gifts will serve as a modest means of sharing the challenges and tribulations endured by educators and learners.
